We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Cure-in-Place Pipe Liner (CIPP) Apprentice—a strong work ethic and willingness to learn is required.

 

Position Overview:

 

As a CIPP Liner Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of trenchless pipeline repair. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, wants to build a trade skillset, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. You’ll support the crew in prepping, installing, and curing liners that reinforce old pipes—extending their lifespan without digging them up.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Assist with setting up equipment and prepping job sites
  • Help install cured-in-place liners into existing sewer and drain lines
  • Support curing operations using steam, hot water, or UV light systems
  • Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and materials
  • Learn how to inspect pipes and ensure liners are properly installed
  • Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
  • Travel with the crew to various job sites, sometimes including out-of-town work

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Willingness to learn (some trades experience preferred)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable with physical labor (lifting, climbing, confined spaces)
  • Positive attitude and interest in growing within the trades
  • Must have or be willing to get a valid driver’s license
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Ability to work in a team and take direction from crew leaders

Pay Transparency:  

 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $17-$22/hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience. 

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
  • May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
