Drywaller

Mauzy Cooling, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a skilled and reliable Drywaller/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and repair as well as an ability to consistently perform high quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Drywall Installation
• Accurately install drywall sheets on various surfaces, including walls and ceilings.
• Properly measure, cut and install drywall for various projects.
• Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and finishing of drywall.
• Drywall Repair
• Professionally repair damaged drywall, including holes, cracks, and imperfections.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, mudding, and taping.
• Stucco Repair
• Diagnose and repair cracks, holes, and other damage to stucco surfaces.
• Apply stucco finishes to ensure a smooth and even appearance.
• Drywall Texturing
• Apply various textures to drywall surfaces, including orange peel, knockdown, and more.
• Ensure consistent and professional application of textures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a drywall installer
• Proven experience in stucco repair, drywall patching and texturing
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Pay Transparency:  

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $20-25/hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience. 

Physical Demands:

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
• May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
• May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
• May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
