Overview

The Plumbing Installation Manager is primarily responsible to supervise all Installation Technicians and helpers. Facilitates quality/field safety inspections and completes customer service calls to job sites in customer homes. Coach and train technicians on customer service, technical & mechanical knowledge, and company products and services.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Responsibilities include scheduling installs and coordinating start to finish
  • Ordering and ensuring that truck stock for svc techs are maintained
  • Scheduling repairs, and installations with technicians and customers
  • Back-up to department manager
  • Ensures all jobs have permits, and see through to completion
  • Handle customer issues as they arise
  • Monitor installers’ usage of company vehicles
  • Responsible for installation department inventory
  • Responsible for filing and monitoring warranty claims
  • Track and record install callbacks.
  • Responsible for reviewing jobs, ordering and preparing equipment for installers.
  • Ensures all payroll splits are entered
  • Other tasks as requested by the General Manager 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years industry experience 
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.

 

Pay Transparency:  

 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges around $80k-$130k annually including base plus bonus. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience. 

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
  • May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
