Dispatcher

As the Dispatcher for Mauzy Cooling, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient scheduling and dispatch process for both our technicians and clients. This role is critical in streamline the service and installation process. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of the Plumbing, HVAC or Electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, maintenance appointments, and emergency repairs.
Prioritize service requests based on urgency and technician availability.
Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
Receive and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide customers with information about service availability, estimated arrival times, and any potential delays.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs or concerns.
Inform customers of the status of their service calls and any changes to scheduled appointments.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer interactions, and technician activities.
Enter data into the company's dispatch and customer management systems.
Generate and distribute reports on service performance, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

It is preferable to have prior experience in dispatching, customer service, in plumbing, service technicians, and electricians
2+ years of dispatch experience
2+ years of customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
The capacity to function both individually and collaboratively is essential.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $20-$22/hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). It assumes a rate based on location and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
• May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
• May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
• May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
